HOW I WORK

Three ways to engage.

Three ways to engage.

01 · 90-day engagement

Enroll, connect, participate.

I investigate why too few eligible users are enrolling, connecting, or participating. I examine operating data and patient evidence to understand where the issue sits and test possible explanations.

I work with your team to decide what should change first, establish who will carry it out, and define how progress will be measured.

02 · Project-based

Go-to-Market & Growth Strategy

I help organizations define how a health technology offering reaches its market and gains adoption. Projects can include positioning, routes to market, partner strategy, and the customer and user experience needed to support growth. Each engagement has a defined scope.

03 · Selective

Strategic Advisory

I work directly with select founders, CEOs, and senior leaders on decisions about adoption, growth, and commercialization. I bring enterprise go-to-market experience and healthcare technology perspective to help leaders evaluate options and decide how to proceed.

EXPERIENCE AND EVIDENCE

Joel Granoff

Technology adoption at scale has been the throughline of my work.

Technology adoption at scale has been the throughline of my work.

From launching consumer electronics and personal computers across North America to pioneering webcasts and website chat for B2B demand generation, I have helped build multi-billion-dollar businesses, expand omnichannel distribution, grow global partner ecosystems, and establish digital-first operating models in global enterprises and new ventures. At SAP, I led a digital-first transformation of the North American field marketing operating model, connecting customer data, marketing automation, campaign execution, and sales programs in a model that drove more than $1.5 billion in attributed revenue.

I’ve learned that whether technology is consumer-facing or behind the scenes, in a global enterprise or a startup, adoption and follow-through depend on how people experience it, understand its value, and decide whether changing their behavior is worth the effort.

Healthcare raises the stakes. My work includes primary research with more than 1,000 patients and caregivers on digital health experiences, personalization, trust, and AI. My own experience as a patient and long-time caregiver gives me a firsthand view of how people experience technology across complex healthcare journeys.

I focus on the gap between what healthcare technology asks people to do and what they actually do, and why that gap matters to adoption, health outcomes, and revenue growth.

Patient participation and the future of healthcare.

Patient participation and the future of healthcare.

I speak and moderate on patient participation, trust, and how AI is changing healthcare. I draw on patient and caregiver research, decades of technology adoption work, and firsthand experience as a patient and caregiver.

Trust Is the Adoption Layer

Why product readiness does not guarantee adoption, and how trust affects whether patients and caregivers activate, share data, return, and act.

N=1: The Patient Who Has Already Changed

What changes when patients and caregivers arrive with organized health information, outside research, and higher expectations for participating in their care.

Patients, Providers, Platforms & Payors

When each organization owns part of the patient experience, who is responsible for making the whole journey work?

The Patient Has AI Too. Is Healthcare Ready?

How patients are using AI to make sense of health information, prepare for appointments, and participate differently in their care.
